The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.

— C.G. Jung

ABOUT THIS WEBINAR

Boundaries are not walls. They are not scripts you rehearse before a difficult conversation, or rules you impose on others to feel safe. In Jungian somatic work, a boundary is a living membrane — the felt edge of the self, the place where you end and the world begins.

Most of us were never taught to feel our limits from the inside. We learned to manage them from the outside — through compliance, through collapse, through the performance of firmness we don't actually feel. The body holds the record of every time we said yes when we meant no, every time we contracted to keep the peace.

This webinar brings the Jungian lens to the somatic reality of limits, contact, and self-definition. We explore how the psyche uses the body to signal where we are being asked to disappear — and how to restore the felt sense of your own edges as a form of psychological wholeness.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This is for you if

You find yourself exhausted by the weight of other people's needs. You say yes and feel resentment settle in the body. You know intellectually that you have the right to limits, but you cannot feel them. You are a therapist, analyst, creative, or depth practitioner who wants to bring somatic intelligence to the work of self-definition. You are drawn to the Jungian understanding that individuation — becoming who you actually are — requires the courage to be a distinct self.

This webinar is not intended as a trauma recovery offering and is intended for participants in an emotionally resourced place in their lives. If you are currently receiving mental health support, it is recommended you discuss this offering with your care provider to jointly determine how engaging in this program might impact your overall well-being. We will be exploring the unconscious psyche, which can be destabilizing for people in crisis or emotional overwhelm.
