Join Jane for this webinar to explore critical aspects of holding psychic and energetic boundaries. Jane’s work in embodied boundaries has evolved from understanding the impact relational trauma can have on our ability to assess relational safety and threat and how difficult it can be to reclaim ownership over our bodies and our personal space. She now brings a Jungian lens to working with psychic and energetic boundaries, moment to moment via an understanding of the somatic unconscious.

You will learn:

  1. A Jungian model for understanding how the unconscious determines more about how you hold psychic boundaries than your conscious mind (harnessing Mario Jacoby’s work).

  2. The principle of embodied dignity as a deep spiritual practice that ensures you are engaging with your boundaries from a centered and resourced place.

  3. Exercises to more fully inhabit your own body while with people who are experiencing more intense affect states and how to deal energetically with projections onto you. We will explore archetypal resources to support your somatically.

  4. Inside outside practice wherein you learn to pendulate between your inner and outer experience to be present with both yourself and the other person.

COURSE READING WILL BE PROVIDED TO ENHANCE AND DEEPEN YOUR EXPERIENCE.

MATERIALS NEEDED: Colourful drawing materials and paper

DISCLAIMER:

This webinar is not a replacement for qualified mental health care and is intended for participants in an emotionally resourced place in their lives. If you are currently receiving mental health support, it is recommended you discuss this offering with your care provider to jointly determine how engaging in this program might impact your overall well-being. We will explore the unconscious psyche, which can destabilize people in crisis or emotional overwhelm.
