This website is operated by Body Intelligence Inc., a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada. Jane Clapp practises under the name Jungian Somatics. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Body Intelligence Inc.

We are the "organization" responsible for personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law 25).

You can reach us at any time through the contact form on this site.

We collect personal information only for the purposes described in this policy. The categories we collect are:

• Contact enquiries — your name, email address, and the content of your message when you submit the contact form.
• Purchase and enrolment information — your name, email address, and order details when you purchase a webinar or enrol in a training programme. Payment card data is collected and processed directly by Stripe, Inc. We never receive or store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials.
• Course portal access — a session token (cookie) is set when you log in to the Soul in Motion participant portal. This cookie is essential for portal access and expires at the end of your browser session or when you log out.
• Consent records — a timestamp and acknowledgement record when you complete the participant consent form for Soul in Motion, as required for professional and legal accountability.
• Server logs — our hosting infrastructure automatically records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps) for security and performance purposes. These logs are not used to identify or profile individual visitors.

We do not use third-party analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or behavioural profiling tools on this site.

We collect and use personal information for the following purposes:

• To respond to your enquiries — processing contact form submissions so we can reply to your message.
• To fulfil purchases — processing payments and delivering digital products (webinar recordings, course access links, receipts).
• To administer the Soul in Motion programme — managing participant access, session materials, and consent records.
• To meet legal obligations — retaining purchase and financial records as required by Canadian tax and accounting law.
• To maintain site security — detecting and preventing unauthorised access or abuse.

We collect only the minimum information necessary for each purpose. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

By submitting a contact form, completing a purchase, or enrolling in a programme, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this policy.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by contacting us through the contact form. Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide services to you.

We share personal information with the following service providers only to the extent necessary to deliver our services. Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy and applicable data protection obligations:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe collects and processes your payment card data directly under their own privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy. Stripe may transfer data outside Canada; they participate in applicable cross-border data transfer frameworks.
• GoDaddy / Airo — website hosting and infrastructure. Our site is hosted on GoDaddy's platform. Server log data is processed by GoDaddy in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Substack — newsletter and essay publication. If you subscribe to our Substack, your subscription is governed by Substack's privacy policy: substack.com/privacy. We do not embed Substack tracking on this site.
• Zoom Video Communications — live session delivery for Soul in Motion participants. Zoom's privacy policy applies to data collected during sessions: zoom.us/privacy.
• Instagram / Meta — social media presence (external link only). We do not embed Meta tracking pixels or widgets on this site.

This site uses only the following cookies:

• sim_session — an essential session cookie set when you log in to the Soul in Motion participant portal. This cookie is strictly necessary for portal access. It contains no personal information beyond an encrypted session identifier and expires when you close your browser or log out.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any cookies from third-party analytics providers. No cookie consent banner is required for strictly essential cookies under Canadian law; however, you may disable cookies in your browser settings, which will prevent access to the participant portal.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

• Contact form messages — retained for up to 24 months following our last correspondence, then deleted.
• Purchase records — retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by the Income Tax Act (Canada) and applicable Ontario tax law.
• Consent records — retained for the duration of the programme and for a period thereafter consistent with professional accountability standards.
• Server logs — retained for up to 90 days for security purposes, then deleted.

Some of our service providers (including Stripe and Zoom) are based in the United States and may process your personal information outside Canada. When your information is transferred outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of the receiving jurisdiction, including lawful access by foreign governments. We take reasonable steps to ensure that service providers maintain appropriate safeguards.

Under PIPEDA and, where applicable, Quebec Law 25, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

• Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and information about how it has been used or disclosed.
• Right to correction — you may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
• Right to withdraw consent — you may withdraw consent to our use of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
• Right to complain — you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, if you are a Quebec resident, with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted HTTPS transmission, access controls, and use of reputable third-party processors. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site and its programmes are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any revisions. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected individuals. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
